Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetes
- The Double Whammy!
The chances of Cardiovascular disease increases to double
with those of us who are diabetic, compared to those who don' t suffer from diabetes. I'm talking about a higher-than-average risk of having a heart attack or stroke.
Two out of three people with diabetes die from heart disease or stroke! (cardiovascular disease)
As high sugar levels become out of control, there is scarring done in the blood vessels. This scared tissue can lead to narrowed blood vessels, which can lead to heart attack, stroke, and other problems.
There are prescription medications, that can treat the disease, although personally (I prefer using natural means, as this limits the side effects from the use of prescription drugs).
To lower your risk, it is imperative that you strictly control your diabetes. Along with controlling sugar levels - cholesterol levels should also be given special attention.
To much bad fat in the system causes plaque io grow in the blood vessels. This along with damaged and hardened blood vessels, presents an even greater risk.
Although a cure for diabetes is without a doubt very much needed. reversing the condition naturally accomplishes the same purpose. It eliminates the disease - along with the complications - including heart disease - this will save your life.
Warning signs can include:
shortness of breath
swelling of the feet and ankles (from fluid retention)
